I have been fortunate enough to have had Atlantic Business Magazine as one of my clients for some time now, and I have been providing illustrations for their business columns for the past year. Here are the illustrations for January, links to the articles they reference are provided in the caption.
At the beginning of 2011, Hi-Tec Canada held a complex promotion during the Canada Games in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Canada was coming to Halifax and we wanted to launch our new brand identity with billboards, bus boards and television adverts. Along with this complex program, we also wanted an “On-Site” presence to bring folks to “us” and show them what “Inspires” us at Hi-Tec Sports.

We contacted Ian Keith Murray, and right from the get go his professionalism, ideas and energy won us over. His brilliant art work and creativity on the spot lent to an incredibly successful promotion! Try drawing what inspires someone, from a single sentence written on a piece of paper, right in front of them … Iain did it, and brilliantly!

Before the 2008 election Harper had a photoshoot with a small kitten as a publicity gesture. Harper had a very strained smile, and the kitten appeared terribly uncomfortable. This inspired the first of my political cartoons in a long time, with many more to follow.
