These are some paintings I designed in order to add some fun & visibility for John’s big sale. I’ve included the original sketches from which I worked in this post. The theme was, of course, moving piles of books.
I worked one on one with this client in order to produce an artwork for his home that accurately represented him and where he was in their life. The finished pieces are studies of the same tree with shared focal points which can then be rearranged to be a different piece every time.
Before the 2008 election Harper had a photoshoot with a small kitten as a publicity gesture. Harper had a very strained smile, and the kitten appeared terribly uncomfortable. This inspired the first of my political cartoons in a long time, with many more to follow.
